Completed Folded Flower Artwork

My dear friend Kim is having a baby girl in a month or so and its my tradition to make handmade gifts/artwork for the nursery.  Her colors are browns, pinks, and greens.  Using my folded paper flowers that I make (tutorial found here) I created a "garden tryptic", gluing a bunch of my handmade flowers on three painted canvases, and using thin quilling paper as the stems.  I LOVE how they turned out!

Gift Wrapping

Well folks, today is my birthday!!!!!!  I would also like to share that my twin sister (obviously) AND my boyfriend have the same birthday as well, I dont think I will ever get used to that!  Ive found some fantastic examples of unique ways to gift wrap presents, these are BEAUTIFUL!!!!

Happy Valentines Day!

This year I made this adorable gift for my boyfriend.  On a deck of cards, I thought of 52 reasons why I love him soo much (I could have easily come up with 1000 <3)  I typed them out and cut them up.  Some cards I glued the white paper on and cut out patterned hearts.  The other cards I backed the white paper with the same patterned paper and glued them on.  Both designs looked great together.  It was a super creative, super personal gift from the heart.  He loved it so much, I was so happy to see his reaction.  Now I gotta think how I'll top this for next year...

I am in love!  My dream job is to be the designers that create these windows. Each anthro shop has its own small team of artists that do all of the display at their location. Graphic designers, painters, and sculptors all work together to create the unique designs you see on display.
