Gummy Bear Chandelier

Kevin Champeny is the mastermind behind this 32" in diameter gummy bear chandelier. It's constructed of approximately 5,000 acrylic bears. Each bear is hand-strung, making the process take about two months to complete.

Artist Spotlight - Lee Price

When I originally came across these images by Lee Price, I actually thought they were photographs. I was so taken by the subject matter and the unique angle the portraits were drawn from.

Lee Price paints images of women surrounded by food from an aerial vantage point. This angle provides a sneak peek into their lives, which allows for the assumption the subjects are hiding their binge eating. See this powerful series above.  Check out his work here.

Bento Box Food Art

Bento is a single-portion takeout or home-packed meal common in Japanese cuisine. A traditional bento consists of rice, fish or meat, and one or more pickled or cooked vegetables, usually in a box-shaped container.

But these boxes blow that original idea out of the water!  The time and talent it takes to make these boxes that just end up being eaten is boggling, wow!
