Choreographers count as contemporary artists! My friend showed me this first video and now im attempting to learn it. At first I was overly optimistic "yeah, it looks easy enough" YEAH RIGHT, trying to learn a dance from a youtube video is nearing impossible. Add the fact that I am completely uncoordinted and it was quite a scene. Just be glad I dont have a video of that : )
In the first video, Marko Panvic is a very successful choreographer and dancer from Sydney. He often choreographs routines for So You Think You Can Dance Australia, and he is ohh soo talented. The other videos are a few of my favorite rotines from SYTYCD from the US (love this show)
