This year I made this adorable gift for my boyfriend. On a deck of cards, I thought of 52 reasons why I love him soo much (I could have easily come up with 1000 <3) I typed them out and cut them up. Some cards I glued the white paper on and cut out patterned hearts. The other cards I backed the white paper with the same patterned paper and glued them on. Both designs looked great together. It was a super creative, super personal gift from the heart. He loved it so much, I was so happy to see his reaction. Now I gotta think how I'll top this for next year...
I think this is an amazing idea!:~)
ReplyDeleteI love this idea! My boyfriend is going over seas, I thought this was a nice little way to remind him how much he means to me.
ReplyDeleteThank you so very much.
mine's in the military too, I think this is great.
DeleteIm sure he would LOVE this to take with him over seas!!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE this idea it's such a cute thing to do!!! I'll be using this :-)
ReplyDeleteI did this for my boyfriend who moved out of the country for medical school. He said it was so thoughtful and loved it! Thanks so much for the idea.
ReplyDeleteI just used this idea for a gift on our four-year anniversary, thank you so much!
ReplyDeleteA truly wonderful idea!
ReplyDeleteI'm using this idea for our three year anniversary :D
ReplyDeleteLove love love! Took this idea and made my own mini deck by typing everything up and cutting out mini cards, then putting them all in one of those little nerds candy boxes. Since we're both proudly geeks, it worked perfect. I doodled little designs on the back of each card as well to make it more personal and fun. Since we're both in college on opposite sides of the country, it'll make an EPIC Christmas present for him this year!
ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful and all my friends and I are using this as part of our boyfriend's Christmas gifts! What type of glue did you use though?
ReplyDeleteI used tacky glue
ReplyDeleteThat is a very cute idea it is very sweet to <3
ReplyDeleteThis is so great! Could you let us know what your 52 reasons were?
ReplyDeleteYou should come up with your own ideas! If you really love your man, it should be easy.
DeleteI'm making this for my man for Valentines day. I underestimated how long it would take to make these, but it will be soo worth it! Thank you for the wonderful idea!
ReplyDeletei love this idea! what typeface did you use??
ReplyDeleteI know I'm a little late to comment but i'm going to use this idea for my boyfriend and my one anniversary and instead of 52 reasons i love you i'm going to put my 52 favorite memories of the year (: On the last one I'm going to put "heat game?" because i bought him tickets to a heat game.
ReplyDeleteJust a small twist on the idea (: Thank you so much for the post!
Just made this for my anniversary tomorrow. Can't wait to give it to my husband. Great idea. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteYou would never actually be able to use the playing cards because the anonymity of each card is lost when the back of is as unique as the front xD
ReplyDeleteCool scrapbooking idea!
ReplyDeleteDid you also cover the "front" part up? For example.. The ace of spades..9 of hearts..8 of diamonds ect ect ect? Thats the only thing I am not seeing...
ReplyDeleteNo I left the other side uncovered
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing out this content it are really fastidious.
ReplyDeleteLove Quote's
